Tonight’s episode begins with John’s partner Celena who comes to his house. She is upset because she has learned her mom lied about some important details surrounding her sister’s disappearance and murder. John tells her there has to be an explanation.
Grey runs his morning meeting. Elijah, a well known criminal, is stirring up trouble on the streets. They need to up there game. Meanwhile, Lucy drops a bomb on Tim. She has a cancer patient coming to spend the day with him. He agrees to it.
Celina and John question a man in her sister’s murder. She promises not to get involved. The man admits to John that he Celina’s mother became addicted to opioids and were out looking to score when Celina’s sister was taken.
Elijah kidnaps Monica. The two are in cahoots. He lets her go. She tells Wesley she is in over her head and needs help. Meanwhile, Tim and Lucy lose the kid that was spending the day with Tim. Monica tells Grey and the others she wants full immunity. She then shares that Elijah has too much money and he is laundering it this afternoon. They warn her she shouldn’t lead them into a trap. Or she will go away for a long time.
John tells Angela about Celina’s case and the man he talked to. She offers her help.
Harper doesn’t trust Monica but she swears she is telling the truth. John tells Celina what he has learned. She gets upset. Her mom left them for drugs.
Harper and Angela stake out, waiting for Elijah. They talk about whether Monica is being truthful. They wait to see Eliajh but he doesn’t show. Meanwhile, Monica is with Elijah. Harper calls Monica and tells her she wants more intel and the info she gave already better be right or she doesn’t get immunity.
Tim and Lucy finally find the kid that Tim is supposed to be spending the day with. They keep losing him. They discover him sitting at a computer. He is up to no good. They discover he is trying to erase his dad’s record.
The team works to track down Elijah. They hide as he tries to make a drug deal near a bunch of warehouses. The team goes in. Elijah hides. Harper finds him but her overpowers her. Angela shows up in time. After pretending to be out, Harper comes to and they fight him. He laughs as they cuff him. He has done something bad.
A man breaks into the home were Wesley is. He attacks him but an officer comes in right on time, saving Wesley. Meanwhile, Elijah is brought into prison in a jumpsuit while Monica is in the hospital. She calls someone to warn them the Feds have Elijah’s phone. Elijah meets a criminal the team is all too familiar with.
