Rosie O’Donnell has been stirring up more trouble. Recently, the public figure and celebrity revealed something in her past that many people may not have expected. According to Rosie, working with Whoopi Goldberg on the set of The View was terrible.
The star spoke about their “not-so-friendly” relationship in a book called, Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story Of The View. The 57-year-old wrote in her book that Whoopi Goldberg was easily one of the meanest people she has ever worked with in her history on television.
Obtained by Us Weekly, O’Donnell told the author Ramin Setooodeh what it was like to work with Whoopi. O’Donnell went on to say that it was even worse than working on Fox News. It was “the worst experience,” the actress remarked. Rosie claims people would always ask about their relationship on the show, but to her, it was clear.

As fans of The View know, she replaced Meredith Vieira back in 2006, and she had co-hosted the immensely popular daytime series alongside Goldberg, 53, for approximately one year before she got into an argument with Elisabeth Hasselbeck. O’Donnell later quit.
Later on, she returned to the ABC mainstay but she once again left to focus on her lifestyle, including her family and health. Furthermore, Rosie revealed in her book that she also, surprisingly, had a crush on Hasselbeck, 41, during their on-air feud.
According to O’Donnell, she suspects Hasselbeck was a little bit gay, and her estimations are in part due to the fact she doesn’t know a lot of athletes at an elite level who aren’t “at least a little gay.”
Rosie actually came out as a gay woman seventeen years ago in 2002, and she claims to have had a crush on the Survivor alum. Hasselbeck responded by stating it was wrong – whether the perpetrator is a man or woman – to “objectify” another person in the workplace.

In recent years, Rosie came to prominence as being one of Donald Trump’s favorite targets. Truthfully, Trump and Rosie seemed like they enjoyed talking badly about each other.
