According to a report by TV Line, the second season of the Netflix series Fuller House, will introduce Joey’s wife and four children. They are scheduled to be introduced in the sixth episode of season 2, when they crash the Fuller, Tanner, and Gibbler Thanksgiving celebration.

Joey’s wife, Ginger, is described as being an “enthusiastic, upbeat, fun-loving magician.” The series’ creator Jeff Franklin said that the Gladstones weren’t seen in the first season because of timing. Executive Bob Boyett added, “It just didn’t fit anywhere in the stories we developed. We had Joey—in the stories we were using him—come in for specific reasons. We just haven’t gotten to everything yet, and we don’t get to everything, even in the 13 episodes.”

In the first season of the Netflix series, Joey was revealed to be a successful comedian living in Las Vegas. In an interview with US Weekly Video, Dave Coulier stated that he had spoken with Jeff Franklin and thought it would be a “fun idea” if Joey had married a showgirl while in Vegas.

On June 15, Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner in Fuller House, posted a selfie on Instagram of a table read of the Fuller House Thanksgiving episode. Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Bob Saget, and John Brotherton are also pictured. The Fuller House release date for season 2 is still unknown.
