In just one week, London will be hosting the most poptastic event of year in the form of Mighty Hoopla. In its second year running, the one day celebration of ‘all things pop, sparkly and fun’ is set to be bigger and better. Here’s all the information you need, if you want in on the fun.
When and Where?
The Mighty Hoopla takes place at Brockwell Park on Sunday June 3 2018.
Line Up
Expect to be to be transported back to the good old noughties with performances from classic pop favourites such as B*Witched, Melanie C, Louise, 5ive and The Vengaboys to name a few. Headlining the event will be girl group TLC, in what will be their debut UK festival appearance, alongside Lily Allen ahead of her new album ‘No Shame‘. Some of the capital’s most infamous club nights such as Sink The Pink and Guilty Pleasures have also curated stages with acts, and entertainment to keep that party atmosphere going on all day.
Travel
The nearest Tube stations to Brockwell Park are: Brixton and Clapham North. The nearest Overground stations are Denmark Hill , Herne Hill, Loughborough Junction and North Dulwich. You can plan your route to the festival using TFL.
Alternatively, you can travel in fashion and arrive on the Vengabus as organised by The Dalston Superstore. Sounds like a party to us!
Tickets
Tickets are available from the official site and are priced at £45.00 or £60.00 for VIP (which allows you to gain access into an exclusive VIP Tent with exclusive sets from Mel Blatt, Fearne Cotton, Bittersweet DJ’s and more). Stage times have yet to be announced but the timings for the fest will be from 12.00 pm to 22.30 pm.
